    The drive from Cologne to Berlin is only around 550-kilometers on the A2 and takes around 5 hours, but most people love to relax on the drive and stop in places like Hanover and making a side trip to Dusseldorf and Brunswick.

    Cologne’s great location also provides one to stop by the Bavarian Alps. If you drive along the A3, you’ll find yourself in 6 hours at the foothill of the most infamous mountains in the country and in the beautiful forests that surround it. The drive itself is also quite wonderful, as you can pass by and stop in places like Frankfurt and Munich.
